Started the day in Sandwich, of course. Stopped for gas at Stop & Shop in Pembroke. No real traffic to speak of this morning, thank goodness. Why the roads were clear was a mystery. Did I miss a holiday on my calendar?
Made an appearance in Waltham for a meeting and completed a couple of minor work tasks. Hit the road during a conference call (Bluetooth, ahoy!) and sat in traffic because of a truck accident/fire on opposite side of Route 128 before successfully meeting a colleague at the Tyngsboro Park & Ride lot.
Then came a brief stop for a working lunch (is there any other kind?) in Nashua, N.H. Love the black beans at La Hacienda, by the way.. Then we made our way to Manchester, N.H., in the name of market research. Back to Tyngsboro again to retrieve my car, and then a quick jag to Chelmsford to grab a coffee and some wifi at Panera (my, how Drum Hill has changed!). Then it was back to Sandwich via 495, to skirt the evening traffic, though I still managed to find some in Southboro and Hopkinton.
What’s that? 320 miles roundtrip? I may need to get gas again tomorrow!
