I think the intent here is don’t text and drive, right? Amazing how so simple a concept can tie up the Legislature for as long as it has. I guess I should appreciate that they are trying to be thoughtful about the matter.

As one who has been guilty of texting and driving a few times, I’m on board with the intent. I shouldn’t be doing it. If it is so urgent that it cannot wait until I stop, I should simply place a call. Much fewer buttons to push, and less chance for an accident.
