Just for the record, if you call me and I am in the bathroom, I do not answer my phone. Ever.

As observed in The Mommy Rant, however, others are not quite as discriminating.

Another random cell phone observation… there are a lot of people on early morning commutes talking on cell phones. I’ve seen people doing this as early as 6 a.m. Who are you all talking to? Other commuters? Checking voice mail? Leaving voice mails? I’m always amazed at how early some people talk on their phone.

When I am on the road, I don’t even put my earpiece in until somewhere around 8 a.m. An hour or two of uninterrupted solitude with the iPod is a good thing.
